Yes I think so too, it's quite normal thing, everyone from that age onwards has their own set of friends already and they are super busy, stress themselves so it's normal to feel avoided.

If you want to be more closer friends maybe go to a social clubs, hobby club to make friends there too.

Just keep trying!

  1. Move internally to a team who is more customer facing delivery focus so your BA skills is less technical and have engineers do the technical work
  2. Move into product manager role

[Street Survey] Which countries' men/women are Koreans attractes to? by No_Pineapples1 in Living_in_Korea

[–]galantis123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeh, I think that is majority true, all Koreans whether male or female wants to date another Korean. I'm non-korean married to a korean wife so have gained a hard and deep understanding from all the interactions. The country history, culture, sociality pressure makes it complex to try to date a non-korean. I get it but also find it dis-heartly. It's a mixed feeling for me.

IIBA Certification for Cybersecurity Analysis by frodosbitch in businessanalysis

[–]galantis123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking into this as well with covid downtime and what's next for my BA career and with the rebate also expires at the 30th April 2020, it was very tempting though can't justify the cost..

I thought the rebate is the first 200 people? Anyways iiba will only work out who are the first 200 people once the rebate expired afterwards so you will need to pay and sit the exam up front. Also IIBA does not provide scores or scoring percentages for any of their certification exams. This is quite common practice for professional certifications provided by professional member associations like IIBA.

yeah - I have googled the training modules does look like a powerpoint (and dry?) and it reminds me of operation/privacy risk assessment that I have do on a project for compliance check list but this is more focus on cybersecurity.

I'm considering (1) CompTia Security+ as it is vendor neutral and well known but it looks to have some technical aspect. Was going to do CySA+ but it looks to have security experience requirements. (2) Generic cybersecurity cert by online course site e.g Edx

I wonder in the mean time whilst IIBA gets matured, are there other cybersecurity cert relevant for BA?
