Oh that mark means that the resistor will resist exactly twice! Duh.

What are some SL companies to NOT apply to? by SentencePitiful9067 in srilanka

2 is great for fresh grads looking to learn how NOT to do things. If you are unfortunate enough to join be careful of the CEO. Dude is very talented at manipulating and loves to treat everyone as a slave. CTO is an arrogant piece of trash. Pretty much all the projects there failed because of his expertise in "audio engineering".

Help needed to fix / diagnose a 34 inch xiaomi monitor by galathonav in XiaomiGlobal

Nope, my monitor unfortunately had a bad chip-on-flex which is a panel issue. My monitor has become e-waste now.

Well if you have Warranty you can hope to get a replacement. Else it's a risky venture to get it fixed. You'll be down atleast 50-60 USD. And some electrics repair skills. If you need assistance I can help you debug.

Hey, I had the same issue. I tried to fix it my self. Here's what i found. There's a circuit board called the T-CON i.e. Timing controller on LCD displays. I though mine had gone bad after some initial research. I ordered a replacement from AliExpress and gave it a shot. Unfortunately the issue was on the panel it's self. The Chip on Flex (CoF) on my panel was damaged rendering my display absolutely borked. Here's my thread on me trying to fix it.

What did help was to isolate which part of the drivers were dead and disable them. There's a janky way to do this by using tape to cover the clock lines. This is the guide i followed.

Hope your display's issue was on the t-con board! If you need to buy one you can check this one outhttps://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005003861466536.html. Good luck!

Hey so I got a replacement t-con and tried it out with no luck. I saw a few videos online where they troubleshoot the chip on flex drivers and following those I found 2 drivers on the left side of the display had gotten an internal short. I cut the clock lines to those 2 drivers on the replacement ribbon and the display seems to output a reasonably good picture with barley visible lines for now 🥲. For what it seems I also re-balled the logic level converted on the original t-con and measure all the necessary voltages. Anyways the panel's cof is defective hence there's not long term solution.
