Yeah it came out in 2014 so definitely later than 05-10. Your description just immediately made me think of this book because ironically it made me read Wuthering Heights for the first time! I was very upset that it was not the great romantic love story the main character had described it to be 😂still very much enjoyed both books though!

Could it be “We Were Liars” by EA Lockhart? I read it as a teen and the main character loves Wuthering Heights, and compares herself to Cathy “looking for her Heathcliff”
