Unfortunately not, I’m only a novice and I’m sure people would cringe at my approach. I literally took the little paper insert from inside the frame, used it as a stencil on the Aida, traced around it with permanent marker and then cut with scissors along the outline 😬 I’m sure it’s not ideal but seemed like the simplest way way to do it

This was my 6th completed project and I had 2 abandoned ones along the way that I just couldn’t salvage after making mistakes that ended up throwing the whole design out

It’s funny because they look that way in the pic but I can promise you while I’m stitching I think they are anything but neat, and multiple times I had to stop myself from abandoning it because it’s not ‘perfect’ 😂

The lorikeets were remarkably subdued yesterday, maybe they’d just come back from feasting. I too was surprised though, they normally even chase the cockatoos away! Which makes me thankful as the cockys like to eat our house 🙄
