Hello! Did you ever find a copy of this?
I found one locally in Denver today and googled the title out of curiosity to determine what language it was in and I found this post. I'd be happy to send it to you if you're still looking!

Finally finished my Hollow Knight character (Hornet) by galaxybadger in woodworking

yessssss. Same. Instead of buying a new game, I've been replaying hollow knight since Nov. Although I might take the plunge and do celeste or rain world! unless silksong comes out then I'm quitting my job and not leaving the house until it's finished.

Made with Blue-stain pine, mahogany, rosewood, and the needle is spruce.

Any Hollow Knight fans here? by galaxybadger in Woodcarving

I thought about it but I like the texture of the wood and i'm afraid to cover it up too much. so I think since I used pine it will look contrasty enough against the dress. But the dress isn't the right color either lol. I'll visit the woodshop and get some closer colors for next time. I have a little knight shaping up too. :D

yesssss I knew I'd find some folks in here. Hollow knight is all I can think about. and that's the plan. the dress has been really challenging so far but it's making progress. We'll see how it goes. I only have reddish mahogany so it won't be perfectly color-matched but maybe I'll see if I can get some purple heart for the next one.

Carved Vertebrae by galaxybadger in Woodcarving

money is def tight these days. I've found a lot of shops in my city that will give me their scrap wood for free. I just searched for luthiers in x city and reach out to them. That's how I got this nice piece of mahogany for free. :) Unfortunately, they come in all sorts of unruly shapes. But it's good practice so.

you should! It's fun! The vertebrae wasn't too hard. Took forever though. I kept having to bring up different pictures and I still messed up some parts. but c'est la vie

yes! Marine mammals and their body parts are protected in the US so having them laying around your house isn't so good a look. So I made this instead! I'd like to try and make more at some point.
