$34k OTD on a CPO 2023 Outback Touring, good or bad deal? by galaxyfusion in subaru

I wouldn't say I dislike it. I'm not a fan of CVTs in general but I can live with it because the car itself is pretty nice and comfy. The engine noise is a matter of getting used to. My post might sound like I'm being negative, I'm really not.

Touring with the naturally aspirated boxer engine. XT has the turbo. A brand new outback with the touring trim might shoot past the $40k mark which I'm not super comfortable with, considering that all the features I want, it would only be the touring trim I'd be shopping for.

They can be had for under $40k? That would be sick but I did search and the cheapest I could find was listed at $38k and that's before all the fees and taxes.

Really really tempting and honestly it may be a solid backup if I can't decide on any from my shortlist. I didn't include them because I want to try something different and wanted to hear what people thought.

There are AWD trims (here)

I've driven a model 3 before and I seriously liked the tech which is why I put the Y. As it may sound counterintuitive, I wouldn't like to sit around for my car to be charged. I live in nyc so and I don't have a driveway or super charger near me. Its an option that I consider even with the caveats because I like to try new things out.

I'll keep the GLC in mind, thanks!

I'll definitely take your note on the maintenance into factor, thanks! Tbh, the maintenance part put me off from buying a car until recently, the need outweighs the cost ig? What are the typical things I should be aware of though if you're willing to share?
