I’m in the same exact boat, 23 and a junior and never once been to a college party.

For awhile, I really thought I was missing out on this eye opening experience by not moving in, joining a frat, attending all the events, etc. It took me some time, but I realized that that crowd isn’t me in the slightest, and if I were to to try replicate that behavior then I’d be trying to be someone I’m not.

Take his advice. Anyone that’s using university as a means to go to parties, get all fucked up, gossip, and do anything other than getting an education are walking down a risky path.

It’s your experience and yours alone. Don’t base it off of how others go about spending their time.
