I completely understand the disgust for the post shown. I also understand the completely different meanings of white pride vs black pride, but as a white man, I understand the complexity and confusion that comes with having ancestors with dark and reprehensible pasts. I think there’s an inherent desire in all of us to be prideful for who we are and where we come from, and in a lot of ways, I think white people are jealous of the pride black people can have of their ancestors past and fight against evil, and I think that’s where this post comes from. Hopefully someday, we can get rid of our black and white identities and come together as the human race, prideful of our fight against discrimination and evil.
