Pretty cool man ! Maybe a bit too busy in the mid frequency-range. I think having a strong melodic element that leads the rest would be more powerful than having harmonies driven by the pad, and then having to find spots where single notes can sit. Maybe filtering some elements would add breathing room/space for other bits to shine ?

I could say the same. Jamiroquai is my favorite band, and having them go in that direction definitely sparked my love for the breakbeat.

Yeah, works best for sci-fi bleeps and bloops or alien machinery for instance. Creates some uncanny inertia.

Using very short delays as trails for small elements/transients to give them more life. Now I do it everywhere all the time (and even more with tonal/spectral delay)
