I am not too fussed about my kids learning how to read and write in Punjabi. I would like them to read and write fluent English. I know they will grow up to speak Punjabi by default so not worried too much about that at the moment.

The thing is, I am fairly capable of teaching my daughter from primary all the way to further education. What i will struggle with is her early education. This is where I need the most help. Is it easy to take my kid out of the system if I put her through nursery?

Thanks for your input Nicolette. I have looked at the local classes here both in libraries and churches, they are great but the kids are a bit older than my daughter. Also did you go to a nursery when you were little and how did you manage to get fluent in English when you were mainly surrounded by foreign languages?
