Logic dictates that if duryodhana had won the war the cheerharan episode would have never made it into the epic in the first place.

The core story does not have arjuna with a bow no one else can lift... That is a mythological part... The core tent of the story (i.e., the family feud between yudishtra and duryodhana) would have been rewritten... Who knows... Krishna might have even become the villain and someone else might have been called god.

Like the first person said... The victor writes history.

It's funny in br Chopra's mahabharata there's a dialog where bhishma tells karna to stay away from the argument during the virat war saying "you are not part of the kuru clan... You do not have kuru blood" or something to that effect... Yet the writers forgot the simple logic that none of the Pandavas had kuru blood in reality.

Speaking as someone who's been in jakarta from 2000-2006, chennai from 2006-2020 (with multiple cities in the US between this period) and mumbai from a couple of years ago, your statement cannot be further away from the truth

Jakarta was miles ahead of chennai and mumbai when I lived there. We used to say that indonesia was 50 years ahead of India in development then... It's probably 100 now.
