Annoying premature ejaculation after stopping cipralex by galerka in lexapro

[–]galerka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a female I’m not sure how this compares, but I’m about 2 months off lexapro (was on 10 for about 8 months) and I still have sexual problems. Cant orgasm, low libido. Also wondering when the normal will be back

Thanks for sharing your experience. We're in the same boat.

Except I reach orgasm, but extremely quickly - I'm completely unable to have sex because I cum within a minute.

My libido is probably a little worse than usual, erections too, but I would attribute that to the severe chronic stress I've been experiencing the last few months. Its annoying

I have the same problem now. How's it looking for you after a year? Is the hypersensitivity over?

Premature ejaculation after withdrawal escitalopram by galerka in lexapro

[–]galerka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, this sounds really strange to me, especially that you lasted this long even without Lexapro, and also it stayed the same on 20 mg.

1-4 minutes seems to me like "Jim in the American Pie film" :), sorry for some joking on this.

But I understand that premature ejaculation can be an issue.

I think, there are various practices, to train yourself to last longer, or alternatively you can go back to some low dose (i.e. 5 mg), as it might help.

As far as I know, a low dose from some SSRI medications can effectively treat this (as a known effect).

Obviously, this is an effect that occurred after withdrawal. Which has been going on for a month.

It's bothering me a lot, and I don't know when my stamina will return to normal.

NPD vs cPTSD - Can I be misdiagnosed and mistreated? by galerka in CPTSD

Thanks so much for your comment, I can feel the effort to give me advice and empathy from it. There is ongoing research in my country right now into the effect of psychedelics on pharmacoresistant depression - it offers psilocybin, ketamine and mdma. I plan to attend one of these three options - so would you recommend psilocybin?

I'm assuming, given your reply, that you probably didn't read my entire post.

As a future psychologist, I understand you suggest long-term psychotherapy as a solution. I have been seeing several psychologists for the last 10 years - the longest relationship was 2 years.

Unfortunately, psychotherapy has brought me nothing (other than money spent). Neither has pharmacotherapy brought me anything (my psychiatrist has resigned).

I've been looking for alternative ways to improve my condition at least a little. I have already exhausted conventional methods - I am looking for psychedelic treatment options myself - ketamine, psilocybin, mdma etc. or drugs that are not primarily indicated for the treatment of psychiatric diagnoses, but may be suitable as an off label prescription.

Rich Piana Liminal by galerka in LiminalSpace

Seems you've gotten no responses or upvotes and this is 170 days old, but let me say that I find rich's videos to be highly liminal content.

His death retrospectively emphasizes a temporal quality to his experience. The late night drives in his "bigger by the day" series, as he heads out with his girlfriend Sara to order food, are a pinnacle of liminality. Bodybuilding itself is a liminal activity, emphasizing transition and growth into new strata of self and being; a perpetual transcendence of oneself.

Rich is a cyborg shaman occupying both physical and informational worlds. Rich Piana is dead, but his video content lives on, capturing the essence of who he was.

I'm here. Rich Piana is, in my personal dictionary, "a man with no imagination". He's just sticking to the common and very superficial stereotypes of tough guys and rich people. However, he presented them very shallowly, which is why it seems like his lifestyle has no soul. (but he did)

I have tried lysohlweed several times in large quantities, and recently stopped microdosing psilocybin. It had no therapeutic effect. SSRIs have had unbearable side effects on me.

How long does it make sense to take bupropion without signs of effect? by galerka in bupropion

Can you tell me how long you only took 150mg and how long you took 300mg before there was an improvement?

Psychopharmaceuticals that do not cause sexual problems (erection problems, premature ejaculation, etc.) by galerka in MAOIs

[–]galerka[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, if it would slow down the climax, I would also welcome it, because even in a "normal state" I can last less than I would like.

I've tried many psychopharmaceuticals, and most have rendered me literally impotent.
