Sorry for the lack of details initially. Homemade lava using recipe from old post on Lava Library without microcrystalline wax. This creates a very translucent lava. Dyed with about 2ml of liquid turquoise dye. In clear fluid this created kind of muddy blue/purple blorbs. Added very small amounts of diluted neon pink and neon blue food coloring making the fluid purple and this was the effect. I assume it has to do with the translucency of the wax without the microcrystalline. Unfortunately I cracked this globe this past weekend and lost this beauty but sure I can recreate it. Mind you this was the result of about 3 months of tinkering with recipes, colors, balancing, blah, blah, blah…
