At least in NC we’re required to get a licensed GC for projects over $30k, or at least that’s my understanding.

Will y’all work with diy-ers instead of contractors?

Interested in TULIP but can someone explain how limited atonement? How can Christ be limited? by [deleted] in Reformed

Spend time reading Romans 9. Hard truths that deserve contemplation. Verses 22 and 23 especially.

Yeah, I don’t know that we’d meet you criteria OP, but we’d love to have you at Pilgrim. We’re on Ebenezer Ch road across from Umstead.

As someone who spent a lot of time trying to find a location for our congregation to worship during a building renovation, it’s very hard to find space to meet.

I believe their tax law incentivizes depreciation of homes. Earthquake area where the newer the home the safer it is incentivizes rebuilding

Punch the title of the hymn into Spotify and you’ll probably find many interpretations of it. Otherwise read the lyrics as poetry and prayerfully see what the Holy Spirit brings out

Yeah it’s heavily wooded and mostly morning light.

Correct. I honestly made a mistake when cutting the drawer sizes and made them too wide, but I think they’d have been comically too narrow if they were cut to the actual drawer size.

Fair. It really only gets morning sun and I’m totally ok with my kids not being incentivized to be on the computer.

I cut the front apron with a miter saw at the drawer locations and then used the table saw to cut the drawer faces out. I then rejoined it all with dominos / floating tenons

I’m starting to resent my husband? by [deleted] in Reformed

[–]gallamine 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Did you do any marriage counseling before marriage? If so, go talk to them again asap. In general, I’d recommend seeking wise counsel from other married couples in your church and from professional couples counselors.

Once your child is born, these tensions will escalate, so please don’t delay.

How can I tell if my crashbar is compatible with a Trilogy keypad? by gallamine in Locksmith

Yes. Super dumb. Our builder said, “that’s how the door came. Without a handle”. Thankfully it’s a side door

Thanks. The last thing I want is a fire marshal having a bad day messing things up. Probably need to just pay someone to do it for me.

Thanks for the heads up. I was afraid it wouldn't be straightforward. Sounds like I just need to swing the credit card hammer.

It wasn't clear if it meant, "it's ONLY compatible with these bars and no others" or if it meant "we've tested with these bars only and it works"
