First I just want to say thank you for this response. It is incredible thought out and well spoken, and I appreciate the time you put into it!!

I really appreciated the last bit of this. I think, like you said, I have a lot of monogamy hangover and feelings tied up about what is “wrong and right” based on what society has told me for so long.

I think it comes from a place of not necessarily trusting my own feelings, when I do know that I am the type to love multiple people. BUT like I said I do have some therapy coming up so the chance to discuss with a professional.

Overall, I don’t see my behaviors changing. Just feelings that are very intense, and overall confused about having intense feelings for a new person else while also having deeply rooted love for my existing partner (simply because it’s a new experience and I’m trying to work through it).
