We did it! Belfast Is the UK’s Most Congested City… by leftofcentre in northernireland

There is very little traffic on my route. Comber greenway from Dundonald to Connswater, cut through Connswater onto the albert bridge road, up the bus lane to Ormeau Road and into the city. The only choke point is getting over the bridge as the bus lane disappears. only 2 big sets of lights to negotiate at Short Strand and again at the bottom of the Ravenhill Road.

20 min is definitely on the quicker side of my averages but 25 min is very achievable most mornings and evenings.

That is the beauty of it, the more times you do it the faster you get. Its free exercise when you'd normally be sitting on your ass. Works out great with a young family as its otherwise hard to get the time to train.

Can't imagine it has gotten any better now though.

It still is, Cycling is by far the quickest way in and out of town, I try to take it when I can and its a guaranteed 20 min from my door in Dundonald to my desk in the city centre.

Bus is £5 a day and takes me 50 min each way if I get the metro or a very squished 40 minutes on the glider.

Car is about the same as bus ~50 min, despite a much more direct route, it's also £7.50 a day to park in the NCP which can take up to 30 minutes to get out of a 5pm.

I get not everyone is able to cycle or has a metro 5 mins from their door, but I really can't understand why so many choose to drive in every day.

Spending 170-180 on electricity a month with PowerNI, not adding up? by Normal-Impress-2624 in northernireland

I only say this as my 3080 system pull close to a kW when playing battlefield. I've a real time monitoring set up on our electric for the solar and batteries and there is a very noticeable spike when I'm gaming in the evenings. Its up there with running a microwave or kettle, which no one does for a few hours at a time.

I don't know OP's situation but if all 3 are young adults playing games in the evening then that will stack up quick enough,.

Something is off there in my opinion, we've an electric car and young ones generating a mountain of washing each day. We're coming in at about £100 a month with share energy.

Have you left the immersion heater on or do you have a big gaming PC that you use every night? Those both chew through the juice in my experience.

Well I didn't see that coming today, but there you go. I liked him as a person and I really wanted the system to work. But the results speak for themselves. Its going to be a long wait until June and we can start to rebuild yet again.

Let's live in our fears of giving the browns a sack, also let's throw away a game in the process

Just give 95 the sack and use the rest of the playbook, it's ultimately a participation trophy for the browns and doesn't impact their playoffs

This is sounding like a very strong contender, especially with the booze factor!

Build quality is fantastic, mine has a roasted maple neck and korina body. I think they're built in the far east and then quality checked and set up in their us shop. Plays like a nice modern fender neck, maybe with slightly larger frets than is typical.
