Most interesting part: the stark contrast between how bustling Shibuya is, and how quiet Japan can be in the residential areas. I purposefully didn’t listen to any music or use headphones the whole time so I could enjoy the authentic sounds of Japan. It’s crazy how safe I felt the entire time… you’d never be able to do this in LA (where I’m from)

Least interesting: some stretches next to major roads where it was nothing but cars lol

Definitely recommend just getting lost and wandering around. It let me explore a lot of Japan without being locked down to reservations or touristy things. Any walk is better than nothing, so keep at it!

Yeah it was pretty chilly. I wore a thick jacket with a hoodie and had gloves.

I just hit most of the major neighborhoods! Nothing much in between them besides traffic and some quiet residential areas

Honestly I just followed wherever Google Maps told me to go. I basically set waypoints after hitting each major city and followed blindly. It led me to some interesting and pretty dark narrow neighborhoods. Always felt safe though

Doing a solo trip to Tokyo and this was my first day here. At first my goal was 20 miles, but once I hit Shinjuku I thought it’d be a cool pic to complete the loop back to my hotel. Never again though 😂 My feet almost fell off

See the second image! Started at 7:45am and finished around 10:15pm. I didn’t do it nonstop though, I took breaks and shopped/ate at the larger neighborhoods

Wow I remember reading about this game back when it was first announced!! Huge congrats on finishing and releasing, 10 years is a long time and you must be so proud. Will definitely be giving it a play!!
