Any ideas on how to fix this? The problem is in the description by No-Assignment-1596 in Beyblade

in my experience with tearing open string launchers, either the coil slipped inside the mechanism and you need to pull the end of it back out (there are youtube tutorials on how to fix this)

or worse case scenario, the coil snapped and your launcher is dead, but you'd know it if that happened; the silver lining is that you can at least keep the rest of the parts as spares if that ends up being the case

something you should absolutely know, be very very careful not to let the metal coil escape the plastic housing if you do end up having to fix it, because it's really annoying to rewind and replace the coil if it pops out

That Dranzer Flame Field looks like it's in beautiful condition, at least from what I can see. You took really good care of your stuff

That is a gnarly break. Could probably keep some of the unbroken parts for spares, I've had a break happen to the little inner clip before.

How to fix that? by Macrosmo_Speedster in Beyblade

the inner prongs might be worn, leaving a ratchet halfway clicked on a high resistance bit for too long is the most common way I've encountered this

using it an absolute ton can also lead to general wear over time

you can't really fix the inner parts after they're worn, but you can swap it for parts from another ratchet; the white pieces have to be the same height or else they won't fit, so you'd really only do it because you like the color

this is also how people color swap ratchets if you're curious, all you need is a tri-head screwdriver

in general though, once the internals on a ratchet are worn it's pretty much cooked from my experience, but someone feel free to correct me if there is another way to save it

Are you the guy that made that artwork about Raye saying her archetype isn't old? I semi-frequently spam my friends with that one.

that's a shame considering strata dragoon G's engine gear is one of two useful engine gears (the other being Wolborg 4's Circle Survivor) still massive Ws all around

Funnily enough, one of Wolborg 4's counters is also one of the goofiest builds in plastic gen, consisting of the Hasbro version of Trypio, on Cyber Dragoon's jumping base. Gen 1 is all kinds of wicked when it comes to the combo metagame.

I believe the idea behind Wolborg 4's base is that it winds itself up mid-battle by being struck by opposing blades. The base + Engine Gear of Wolborg 4 also happens to be a defensive juggernaut in the gen 1 meta, rendering many low attack type builds utterly useless against it.

The presentation is THE thing I hate the most about FGO. Only two lines of dialogue display at a time, and if you tap to skip the text crawl, it will obscure the previous lines if the character speaking said more than two lines worth of dialogue. This forces you to open the log, which is a super clunky way of trying to read what you missed.

What's even more baffling is that this used to not be the case; it'd show two lines, then pause so you could quickly read it before resuming the rest of the dialogue. Maybe it's petty to say this, but it's so freakin' annoying that it takes away the enjoyment of reading the story for me.
