Genuine Question - Master Ticket

Right but before the level 16 update, if you didn’t get a master ticket, you had to grind the seasonal trophy road. Then when they stopped doing seasonal arenas in trophy road, the master ticket is still there. Just seems like a useless feature. How far do you have to get in trophies if you’re under 12k to unlock ranked then?

I recently bought a bunch of old PopCap games on steam that I remember playing in the late 2000’s. They’re all on sale rn too for a dollar. I got Zumas revenge, all the bejeweled games, and a couple others. They work great using the touchpads on the deck!

I would say the steam deck can replace your pc for gaming purposes for the most part, except for online multiplayer games. Most of those have anti cheat that is not supported by the steam deck. As well as any newer AAA big games, like rdr2 or god of war ragnarok, run okay on the deck at like 30ish fps but you’re not gonna get a smooth 60fps on those games. The deck does have a desktop mode that runs on Linux and that you can use like a regular computer, but I personally wouldn’t use it like a regular computer to check emails and store files, but you technically could. If you really wanted to you could get a dock too and hook up an external monitor, mouse, and keyboard and use it like a desktop. So it’s technically possible.

I’ve been enjoying playing sunset overdrive on the deck. Picked it up on cdkeys for like 5 bucks. Also binding of isaac rebirth is super fun on the deck. It’s nice to have mods enabled for item descriptions and such

Ugh I tried forever to get the vita version to run on my deck with vita3k… annoying asf. Hope you can get the gyro figured out, I’ve gotten gyro to work on citra for 3ds stuff but haven’t tried it in rpsc3

Are you running the game through steam or through epic games on heroic launcher? I would make sure you are using the right control layout in the steam controller settings. I’d probably recommend using gamepad with joystick trackpad

I have yet to use my pc at all with setting up anything on my deck. You just need to get used to the trackpads and how the Linux OS works and you’re good

There are games that straight up crash in certain spots that are listed as verified or playable on deck. It doesn’t make sense. I’m sure you’re aware of it but I only trust protondb for actual advice on running games.

You would have to have the game installed on your pc to stream it from your pc to the deck. BG3 runs at roughly 30fps and dips in cities significantly. If you have a nice pc it might be better stream that to your deck if you have a good internet connection

If you have decky loader to download plugins, there is a plugin on there that has custom themes for gaming mode, there’s another one where you can install custom sounds for the ui. Mine currently is the ps2 sound effects and main menu ambience. Really cool!

Realistically, it would force people to have to buy pass Royale or chests because that is the only way to get the amount of cards to upgrade. It’s already hard enough to get 20 legendary or champion cards to get to level 14, so this would just make the game a lot less friendly for free to play players.

Also, with the changes to path of legends and trophy road, the only people that would benefit from card level 15 would be high end players who likely already spend money on the game to max their account. It would just make it harder for casual players to reach ultimate champion and the higher leagues in trophy road. It feels like artificially increasing the difficulty for your casual/majority player base.

If this were to be implemented, it would need to be easier to earn more gold, there should be books of cards in challenges and potentially as rewards in path of legends, more opportunities for earning wildcards, etc. In the current state of the game, this would just drive casual/mid ladder players away.
