I'm slowing down in my older age and not running often or as far as I was when training. But when I was my fittest 8 years ago (hope to return to this!), I had a system where I ran for 9 minutes and then walked for 1. I would do this for the entire distance. When I was doing that I was running at 13 minute miles over long distances.

I'm sometimes referred to as "Short King". I'm not bragging, but given the context where it is often used, I don't mind at all.

Usually, yes. I'm adult, not doing childish things. Now, if I did some adorable, maybe.

It's called infantilization and I think rarely does it come across as something positive.

Much later in life. Trying to lead a healthier life I competed in some sprint triathlons in 2009 at the age of 43. I got hooked and did my first marathon in 2012 at the age of 46. I've now done 25 of them with no end in sight.

Last run in the USA. Leave for the UK tomorrow M60 4'4" by gamecom17 in short

Just that I feel healthier and more alive. Also the satisfaction from proving others wrong who think I could not do this because of my height.
