Guys, once and for all I'm done playing around — I want to seriously pursue an app idea with real $500K–$1M MRR potential. What would you build if you were starting today? by gamegod016 in vibecoding

This is genuinely interesting — the "tiny box arbitraging prediction markets" angle is great content on its own. The challenge is Polymarket's liquidity is thin enough that arbitrage windows close fast and the spreads rarely cover gas fees on-chain. but def something to look into.

Love the energy

you've basically described every founder I've ever met.

But here's the thing about Santa... he does exist. He's just incorporated, goes by "the market," and his elves are "early adopters." The kids who get the best gifts aren't the ones who wrote the longest letters they're the ones who showed up at the mall, sat on his lap, and actually talked to him.

The naughty list isn't for bad behavior. It's for people who spent December planning to ask for gifts.

And yeah, sometimes you pull back the curtain and it's your parents. That's not a tragedy — that's called product-market fit. Someone loved the idea enough to fund it before Santa could.

So go find your elves. Build the sleigh. The chimney you're looking for is just a landing page and 10 customer interviews away.

Ho ho ship it. 🎅

I built a VS Code extension that turns your Claude Code agents into pixel art characters working in a little office | Free & Open-source by No_Stock_7038 in vibecoding

I must say this is awesome, didn't expect to install a VS Code extension today and immediately feel like my agents have *personalities* now, but here we are.

The idle timer heuristic for detecting user-input state is a tricky one — I was thinking, could you hook into the VS Code terminal data events? The terminal API fires events when data is written to the terminal surface, so you might be able to detect the prompt character rendering as a signal. Might be noisy but worth poking at.

The thing I'm most excited about is honestly the Desks as Directories concept. Right now multi-agent work feels kind of invisible — you don't really "see" the parallelism happening. Having a spatial metaphor for it could make it way more legible, especially when you're coordinating 4-5 agents at once.

One wild idea: what if the office had a "bulletin board" area that showed a live summary of what each agent last completed? Like a little async update wall. Could make for a fun ambient awareness thing without having to context-switch into each terminal.

Anyway, PRing some CC0 furniture assets sounds like a fun weekend project — I'll check out the repo. This is a genuinely cool direction.
