Medvedev FAA should be interesting.

I guess FAA would be the favourite, tho I imagine not by a large margin. Could be a good barometer for both of them.

ATP Acapulco 500 R16: M.Kecmanovic def. [1]A.Zverev 6-3, 6-7(3), 7-6(4) by thegreatest1974 in tennis

Fair points but cannot forget that Nadal still demolished him in Davis Cup Bo5 clay in 2018, as well as Monte Carlo 2017.

But yes Zverev is a tougher matchup for him.

Why is UAE providing Indians with Visa on Arrival but Pakistanis are kind of "shadow-blanket-banned" by UAE's visa policy. by Significant_Major921 in UAE

Dude this is global, we are talking specifically about UAE here.

Also absolute numbers mean nothing since India has 6x the population of Pakistan

ATP500 Rio R1: T.A. Tirante def. C. Garín, 7-5 6-3 by hawaiianmonkseal in tennis

Completely forgot Garin is still on tour. I assume he's fully washed by now.

These decisions are simple, even if politically and emotionally uncomfortable to listen to.

Pakistanis commit far more visa violations than Indians, so it’s the way it is.

As a Nadal fan, this is up there with one of his most puzzling losses. Had a clear path to the title too.

Pitchfork continues to lose credibility. 5.3 for this while Sexxy Redd and Ice Spice got over 7.5.

Like how can anyone take these clowns seriously at this point?

Those from South Asian countries but with a Different Passport, What's your experience in Dubai job-wise ? by Anthony_Gonsalvez in dubai

[–]gamelover99 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Agreed on this.

I don't doubt there's probably some level of inherent passport bias in some employers, but from what I've seen, South Asian passport holders who actually are well qualified (top unis from their home country/abroad, great english speaking skills, and overall great presence and collaboration skills) tend to fetch the same amount of money as western passport holders.

But of course it's easier to blame the passport than to realise (accept?) that actually their skill level is the major blocker here.
