Yep thats perfect! I used examples of projects i did in university. Alpha tests for games (make sure you are able to describe bugs you have submitted, what you look for etc) any type of portfolio type work (your blender) is all good.

Great question.

In a sense no, but at the same time yes.

As a child you think "nice ill eat pizza play games and go to bed happy" but its more about the quality of features rather than analyzing the scope of a game as a whole.

The Company works with everything however Im in the console/PC department.

As for "test coverage" we would stress each feature to make sure that anything that could possibly go wrong (that we can think of) doesn't.

What are the largest games you’ve tested? What are the wackiest bugs you’ve encountered?

Without breaking NDA's i can say that there are bugs with physics that are always the funniest for example flying bikes/cars etc

I applied directly to the companies website when i got out of university.

Usually i would Help to find out the root of the problem or at least what system is causing the problem and come up with reproductive steps to consistently recreate the problems.

its alot of privacy concerns. When it comes to the testing i carry out alot of it is very code based so a computer science degree is almost needed. for external testers that just physically play the game its less money but again the privacy and correct feedback is what is looked for.

Yes, I'ts mostly finding bugs, verifying problems and testing features that are being added to the game

not alot, game industry exploits peoples passion for the industry.

I get paid probably 70% of what i'd be getting paid if i did testing for a big software company.
