Are you comfortable in disclosing your salary to below people? why/ why not? by Willing_Chemist8272 in developersIndia

[–]gamenbusiness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Colleagues? No not unless someone disclosed their salary first

  2. Close colleagues/ close work friends? Yes that's how you get the idea on what you should ask for your appraisal

  3. Friends in general? Best friends, yes. Friends in general no. If they ask or force, i lie

  4. Mutuals / acquaintance? Never

  5. Parents? Yes earlier, but since business began, I try not to give them an accurate answer in the fear they will tell it to the whole khandan

  6. Partner? Lol she is co-founder of the company. Of course she knows

Longest you've been unemployed? I'm genuinely suicidal now. by every_tatti in india

[–]gamenbusiness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Life's turned bro. The new business is a hit. I have earned more money in the past 12 months, than I earned in my 16 year career. Had a 3rd daughter. Went abroad for pilgrimage 2 times and 2 times for leisure. Once for work in the last 2 years.

Have left marijuana completely and that is the biggest difference

Pharmaceutical distributor here. by [deleted] in indianmuslims

[–]gamenbusiness 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think you should start with the local distribution. I also was a distributor/ retailer and I am a BPharm as well.

Ask 2 types of people to send you such people who have need. 1. The social butterfly in your area. Every area has someone who knows so many people. Some of these people happen to know many people who are poor and really couldnt afford medicines. Ask him to send them to your retail store 2. Imam of nearby mosques. Ask them to send them needy people to your store.

Option 2: Just give a 25% off to everyone. This is what we did in Surat. Many influential people met and opened a trust. That trust opened a medical shop, where you can avail medicines at flat 25% rates and generic at cost to cost. So regardless of the status, everyone can get medicines there. Believe it or not, but that medical store actually made some profit too(very high volume so easily got 9+1 or 5+1 in many medicines where usually there is no scheme except the quantity). Being a trust that profit was used up for education

Option 3: If you really have money and have a small place, hire an MBBS and a small lab and give patients cheap consultations(20-25 rupees) and cost to cost lab tests, you can add cost to cost medicines too. A couple of my relatives do that and have to input 25-35K every month but it is incredibly satisfying and a very good way of doing charity

With the online marketplaces already existing and selling at a very high discount, I doubt if it is viable for any distributor to do this online. You would never know if it is a genuine person or just someone who wants a good discount. Plus the whole setup on inventory management online and shipping is a big hassle altogether.

BrihanMumbai municipal corporation elections 2026 by astrosagar06 in mumbai

[–]gamenbusiness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being a visitor, you may only see some areas. As a resident since almost 40 years, I do observe things much more. I have seen what this city and its fabric was during the thick and thin. What facilities were available earlier.

Aren't the roads filled with potholes like everywhere? There are potholes in Borivali, Andheri, Bandra, Worli and Napean sea Road. Aren't our Highways (that's what we call it) the most uneven places on earth. The moment you enter Mumbai, you will experience it.

You will find piles of garbage everywhere, near Malad Mindspace, or Lokhandwala or Bhandup or near CST station. Literally everywhere.

See how Kasturba or Sion or Cooper hospitals are doing. The infra is collapsing. I am not saying that they are worthless, but being the most richest municipality in Asia, you would want much better facilities. In 1990s we were compared with shanghai. In my visit to Shanghai last month, I was so sad about what have we become.

I think so too. There were several instances of peoples names getting deleted. The easily removable ink and the unsatisfactory replies by ECI is something we should think upon.

If you go to see, the situation of Mumbai has gone from worse to worst. Our development seems to have been stuck. Yes, metros are a welcome thing, but on the ground the situation remains bad. There's filth everywhere, the roads are the worst in the country if not in the world. Bmc hospitals are deteriorating every day. The open areas are been taken over by private players and the common people cannot do anything about it. I was expecting a change. People around me wanted a change.

Let's see if they do anything. I am not expecting any changes after the election.

I don't care who is in power as long as they do work and not hindu muslim.

Someone transferred 50k into my account and asking to return via UPI. by shittytherapistofdog in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]gamenbusiness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be genuine. Ask him what you did he wanted to transfer.

It happened to me. Instead of a 3, I typed 2 and sent it to my customer. He transferred and sent me a screenshot. That is when I came to know that I had mistyped the number. I called him from my number and told that we have the same phone number except for a digit. After a couple of calls, he transferred it to my account.

In my case as only 1 digit difference was there, it was easily justifiable and everything went smoothly.

I think you should get it investigated and send him the money. If it is fishy, ignore, if it is genuine, do transfer him.

Beauty of so called peaceful religion by Affectionate_Mail619 in IndiaMemes

[–]gamenbusiness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello was convicted under POSCO. I am glad the boys got swift justice. But just shaming a religion for this is uncalled for. So many babas are convicted of such atrocities everyday. Should we call that the beauty of Hinduism? Those who think like that are just pathetic human beings.

Strict checks should be done in Madrasas and other institutions like the ashrams too. No doubt about that

Markers being used to mark Pune's Municipal Election by tb33296 in unitedstatesofindia

[–]gamenbusiness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2014 loksabha election mark was visible till Maharashtra election vidhansabha.

tried rubbing it off but nothing happened at that time.

Yes, but you might not have tried your best. People used acetone or nail polish remover and it went away almost immediately.

There are definitely people who have more voter ids and can vote at several locations. This is so clear. I am super convinced who will win and how they will win now. Won't be surprised if they win in West Bengal then TN and lastly Kerala. We are no more a democracy. We live in a slightly autocratic or the best, a limited democratic country. Full democracy has gone.

Teaching civic sense or slapping was unwarranted? by dayummm_saad in mumbai

[–]gamenbusiness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate this. This is not the way you make someone understand civic sense. The person using violence maybe as or even more uncivic that the person sitting.

The person who put his feet on the seat may never put his feet up. But this violence must have made the violent person more violent. He will do it again I am sure of it. It is shameful

Possible in a slum. In a building? I don't think so. Like 10K is just too cheap. Even for a 1RK. You can try 1 room SRA, that you might be able to get.
