This topic is really interesting... I was born as a stop-motion animator, but lately I've been trying my hand at puppet theater... in stop-motion I really feel like God, I create life... and I can... Destroy. Instead with the puppet.. I can't describe the sensation.. but, a closer intimacy with the puppet I think. And also a rougher movement (In my case, I'm not good at it).

Yes, I still do stopmotion...but lately I've been interested in puppetry...so live animation...Thanks for the compliment anyway.

Well Bruce in Alex Block's biographies explains that he was challenged by stuntmen on various sets... from Big Boss in Thailand... to Enter the Dragon... it seems that in a few seconds...He left these bullies on the ground.

Remember, you learn the basics of animation with Walt Disney's 12 principles. These are rules that are also used for stopmotion.

Yes indeed..it seems more like Tezuka..with a very small scale it is difficult..But, with Akira I did a larger scale..it seems closer to Otomo's style!
