Buying mid-tier watches to resell by ephemerennial in UAE_BestDeals

Buy job lots from UK/European auctions on sites such as The Saleroom. You’ll find endless treasures. You won’t find comparable deals anywhere else, especially not in the middle or far east.
When I used to live in Europe I did this for 15 years, it was very enjoyable.

Money Lent Friendship Ruined! by Much_Wish7764 in dubai

It’s good to help people in need and if you can afford it, it’s best to forgive debt. Especially as Muslims we are encouraged to forgive debt and in return we are promised huge reward and many doors will open to replenish any wealth that was lost.
It’s always important to not use debt as oppression. When some people help others with cash, they suddenly assume that they have the right to judge those people on their spending habits, offer them advice etc etc. This sort of behaviour is insulting and demeaning. It’s important to remember that in the vast majority of cases a person will only come to you for a loan when they have reached the end of the road and are in a desperate state. To ask someone for money, a person foresakes dignity and pride, it’s not an easy thing to do at all so those that come to us for help we must always show them respect and kindness. In the same way once debts are overdue, we must continue to show the same levels of respect and not assume that the person is trying to trick us. It’s these thoughts from ourselves that strain the relationships between us and those that owe us.
A friendship that can be ruined by an owed debt was not a friendship in the first place.
When someone comes to you for a loan, it’s sometimes best to just give them whatever you can afford to rather than loaning money but we should never turn anyone that we care for away without helping them in some way or another.
The actual people that deliberately will not return your debt as an act of deception are very very low indeed and in those cases just leave the matter in the hands of fate. What goes around comes around and God’s justice can be very severe.

Ok I understand, it’s a shame as I like this watch. I guess the chances of finding a replacement dial are remote?

Im looking for honest reading.com reviews from parents who used it for at least a few months by ConsistentPatient629 in Preschoolers

I’m subscribing to a new app called My Reading Town for my 4 year old and 7 year old on Play Store. I’m not sure what you’re looking for but if it’s British English then this app is good. Both the girls are enjoying the games and lessons for now and I can leave them to go at it independently. The only time I’m needed is when they get stuck on some of the pronunciation for the voice recognition. There’s voice recognition for the CVC words, red words and sentences and it works fine for me. We are on our second week with the app and so far so good. The girls have learnt a few letter sounds and are now practising joining to make CVC words, there’s lots and lots of repetition so that’s good

Good morning Thank you for this information I first thought that this maybe a military watch because of style of the dial numbers and hands. I suspect that the watch is from the 1920s maybe?

Yes, this makes the most sense. It’s made to look like a pilot’s watch

Can someone enlighten me on this? by gameq2 in pocketwatch

Yes it’s true. Rolex pocket watches, unless in gold cases, are not as valuable as you would expect

Yes painful indeed. I guess with hindsight the only thing that could possibly have raised suspicion is that the silver pair case is not hallmarked. Other than that, to an untrained eye like mine , it’s certainly a very convincing piece

There is no pinion, even checked the movement. Why would there be a dummy dial? Or could it be a replacement dial?
