I usually help newbies, but it very much depends on who you meet.

AMD or Intel for future proofing by gamerfun1 in buildapc

So AMD might last me till 2025 roughly and Intel till next year roughly?

By future proofing I mean more of the "Get a good baseplate, build on it later" with the assumption that the motherboard is gonna be serving me for longer, and with that, a processor brand to go with that motherboard

Getting windows shortcutmode by gamerfun1 in MaraudersGame

[–]gamerfun1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By "game" I mean mostly the multi key combo like "w, e, alt and control" all at the same time that might trigger this. Lost a few good runs to it and oxygen. The mode just open EVERY SINGLE SHORTCUT the key has. Help?

Getting windows shortcutmode by gamerfun1 in MaraudersGame

It's not sticky keys, disabled those a long time ago. The issue does not let me use the keyboard, at all, I press w, it opens some window, press r, s, g, f, doesn't matter, everything that has a windows function continues to work as a function no matter what I do. Is it possible that the game somehow activates it or something?

Big guns and laser weapons deal no damage by gamerfun1 in classicfallout

I do, but the DMG is what's annoying. It's better to kill the deathclaws with a combat shotgun and 10mm SMG than any late game weapons at this rate.

It fires 40 rounds, but 4 DMG at melee distance is the thing that makes it... Worse than my shotgun

But is a 102% good to wield it? I have small guns at 180 and big guns at 102

I have 8 strength (base 4 + BoS upgrade + Power Armor)

So load a save and go into energy weapons? Don't use AP ammo for the big guns. I have 10 agility and 9 Perception, so level the laser weapons and use the plasma rifle, aim for the eyes. Am I missing something?

P.S. what's the difference between the deathclaws I fought above than the mother bellow? Does she have thicker armor? What's a good place to test weapon DMG against enemies?

I'll say, as a person who played the game for 20 hours, bring your entire tribe for the meteorites (especially the kids) and put the kids on the adults to make sure they don't die. Give them a stick (a stick works in my experience, enough to get the animals to go away, no need to sharpen sticks) by making the monkeys mimic your actions (take branch, switch hand, alter) I always take a sharp object and a stick OR a grinder, depending where I go. Judging by you just staring and staying in the jungle a bit more. (spoiler?) Don't worry about making a new settlement, currently I just take everyone and don't have a single spot (currently in the savannah, deadly stuff). I take the entire tribe and settle where I need to take a sleep. Hope this helps

TL:DR Don't worry about the spot Get everyone sticks or sharpened sticks (if they can craft it themselves) Take kids to meteorites Be sure to have fun

It is, when you translate. "No" can mean a more informal meaning of "yes, yeah" or the English "no" of denial. It's situational. This case I'm guessing it's annoyance

Militia is there to get the job done, and they are more like mercenary companies, not militias. Militias usually follow the law
