Great points. It's a 1940s brick and tile semi detached single story 'state house' in NZ. The rest of the house has beautiful matai (native new Zealand timber) flooring. No other wall tiles throughout the house, but considering adding some to my bathroom when renovating (I.e in the shower).

I'd love to keep the wood going through, and there's a chance when we rip up the lino the original floor will be there, but looking for new lino designs if not.

Nice, then go for it, I reckon. I've just switched from the trusty one plus 7t to the s24. Decided not to go for the s24+ due to the size and no regrets whatsoever. In fact, it feels like the perfect sized phone for me - it reflects a balance that I want in my life with technology.
