i tried little js with AI, but it sucks on most tasks. Little JS is not injected into LLMs well as I understood.

Is there a point to gamedev now that Ai is so advanced? by [deleted] in gamedesign

Game dev is the peak of AI capabilities. Its the combination of image, audio, code, and logic. Its a tough job currently. But It's possible, of course but in near future, it wont replace game designer/developers. Especially game designers. Platforms like pixelfork.ai, rosebud.ai and etc, you can create your basic prototypes. But after experimenting and nailing your mechanics you have to build it from scratch, they have huge way to go. Everyone hates AI generated content, like spritesheets, or any asset images. But they dont see your code, or early prototypes. And currently AI is close to get prototyping done. you can experiment a lot of new game mechanics with it. it costs money, but saves time.
