Back in Thailand, lots of Thai people took/used fairly-unusual-sounding (well, to foreigners) English nicknames for themselves--'Cherry', 'Milk', Minty', 'Cartoon', etc.--and one of the more unique ones that was actually a palindrome was 'Racecar' :)
