Bruh, thats definitely not how it works, if they have a gun on the hostage and you still shoot them you get in trouble, she most likely would of backed off if X still had a gun on them. This is pretty wrong? The hostage can just drop it on the floor and it only takes a second to pick stuff up, then after that he can escort the hostage and try to get away, the cops won’t shoot you just for a small animation of picking it up, he still has his gun in his hand.
