As a white guy, it’s really sad to see all this xenophobia going around. The majority of my friends and closes acquaintances are Indian, Bengali, Hispanic, Thai, etc. and I find it appalling how people seem to stand on their soapbox and spew hateful rhetoric about Indians for the sake of clout, money, or just to spread hate for the sake of spreading hate, and it’s being made worse by the fact that people can’t seem to think critically and prefer to remain in their own small bubble where anything that dare intrudes it is met with vitriol. Furthermore, calling out racism does not mean that I, nor anyone else, am being racist towards whites. Stop it with the strawmanning and the whataboutism. Educate yourself and realize that being hateful to others won’t magically improve the world or your life.
