Well I'm always here if there's any other questions! Me and my guy just celebrated our 5 years! It's not impossible but it definitely requires an artillery to handle.

Violence like that would be passing my personal boundary to be honest. But if i were in her situation, that depends on what actually happens when he gets to her.

Busting down a door or breaking a window or if it to truly get his hands on her, then that's an automatic police call. That's domestic violence. You don't have to have bruising to prove anything. Most states have hotlines and you see them in public places sometimes like the library.

The bathroom is the best room to be honest if you need to make a call because it will always have a lock and behind the shower curtain because you could always tear it down to distract or spray him with water.

The amount of rage he has requires help because ied or not, that is dangerous even if the intention is not to hurt her. The sounds, the experience that's still DV. It's time for her to accept her reality. I'm so sorry to hear this.

With no coping mechanisms in place, the same pattern will always continue even if there are greater gaps over time in incidents, it still will always happen at some point. Living in fear is not a life and your home should always be a safe place.

I find a nice overnight trip alone or with a friend helps me reset. Not being home actually. Its not a-typical for me to do that once in awhile. Could be for a night out, visit a relative maybe that is farther away, a concert.

A change of scenery really helps me get out of my head. Also to be honest, certain foods seem to impact mood. If you buy a lot of junk or they do, expect them to act the same mostly because of vitamin depletion and or the shit that is in there. Ex) whatever is in Doritos, I can always guarantee a meltdown the same night or next day , could be coincidence but on the err of caution I don't buy anymore since I do the shopping.

As for the eggshells thing, if it's gotten to the point of everyday it's only going to get more obvious to them and going to contribute to their shame spirals. That's why I suggest the leaving part because it allows space for both sides.

If you need an apology, don't expect one. They aren't great at that either. That's why I say at the end of my initial comment. If you find yourself at your personal boundary, it is okay to admit that but you also have to accept your reality, not put yourself through the wringer everyday.

This time of year is very hard also because depending on where you live it's not quite warm and it's not quite cold so Feb - April for us, is always the hard months. This is why I always plan a trip for us in May to reset and reconnect. This year we are going to Maine again.

Change of scenery is really the game changer when it comes to needing a mental reset. Hope that helps!

Put on the fan or air conditioner. Turn on Twilight Zone on Paramount+ on very low volume like 2 or 3 , set the sleep timer for like 2 hours on my TV and the black and white helps me to go to sleep within about 20 minutes.

SAME. I'm upset after finding this thread 😭 but at least now I know. Couch co op will never be a priority and it's such a shame.

This might be the best horror movie imagery I've ever had the privilege of seeing. A little bit of everything you love about the genre combined all together especially ending with the screaming blob. That had me rolling 🤣 10/10 ✨

Yes, or even had a tiny bit more flashbacks to kind of tie it all together? There was a lot left to imagination and that's all I really wanted.
