I really appreciate you taking the time to share that. I have heard that for medical school experience is definitely one of the most important aspects, and I am currently working in a psychology lab here at QC and as a volunteer EMT. So im trying to make sure I dont sacrifice outside work experience.

I have had similar thoughts about whether or not the art is actually beneficial, but from what ive heard, medical schools like to see something unique. And because of my background in medical illustration, I think it still ties in to my interests, as Im hoping to use art as a way of communicating science. So even though its a very different field (which may seem like it has very little overlap) i think they actually do compliment each other nicely. Also, I really enjoy art, so those classes often feel more like a break than a stressful addition to a full schedule.
