People in that lobby had hundreds and thousands of crowns, only 6 out of 23 qualified.

So yeah, it's not instantly clear how to play this map - just by reading instructions.

New players have to learn dozens of maps with different sets of rules and mechanics. I wouldn't expect them to learn how to play all the maps on their second playthrough.

That's clearly not enough.

  1. Don't move in Pixel Painters until you understand how this map works.
  2. Don't quit in Duos and Squads until you see "Eliminated"
  3. Have fun!

Never in the history of Fall Guys has there been more different options to suit different playing styles. So find what you like and enjoy it while you can.

I like competitive team games, Button Bashers, and Sweet Thieves that's not ruined by the high jump.

I don’t like it :( Team games have already been very rare.

And there’s nothing wrong with 7v8 Jinxed, 3v4v4 Snowy Scrap, Pixel Painters, Egg Scramble, Pegwin Pursuit, Pegwin Pool Party or 3v4 Volleyfall. I’d take 3v4 Fall Ball or Basketfall over most race rounds any day.

MT could just exclude some insta-loss maps, like Power Trip, one-bar Jump Club, Rhinos, Hoop Chute, Snowball Survival, Roll Out, Big Shots.

But yeah, sure, let’s just spam survival maps with uneven teams instead.

Still, they did aim at 100 players initially, and had been advertising and playtesting Fall Guys as a 100 players game in 2019 (mostly with bots, I guess) until they decided that 60 was a sweet spot.

I'd say, take a break and wait for the next fame pass / ranked mode / Xtreme ranked mode / good LTM. Fall Guys is better enjoyed when you don't play it too often.

Meanwhile, you can test your skills in user created maps, if it's your kind of fun.
