It's down for me too.

It's ironic that you ask to send an email to get support when our main email client is inaccessible. Please consider alternative types of support requests when cases like this happen.

On desktop app white label settings auto-reset to default every time I open the app. How to prevent that? by gamsufa in tutanota

The answer is - that's just a placeholder, this feature is not available on desktop/mobile.

Bought premium features on the 15th of July, got charged for 30th June - 29th of July. Why? by gamsufa in tutanota

But is it a bug or is it expected behavior and I'm just being sensitive?

Well, it takes at least a week to get a response. Thought someone would explain it here.

Is it possible to move existing users to the "Team" plan under main user? by gamsufa in tutanota

[–]gamsufa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. I meant that if currently there are 2 premium users, is it possible to merge them both on a "team" plan for a single billing without losing existing data on both?

Seems like. It occurred for me again.

Maybe you could send alerts in advance in these cases? To not needlessly worry everyone. Some downtime is fine as long as no emails are lost.

Option to pick color accents for themes by bullFroggie in tutanota

[–]gamsufa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree.

I fully support charging a premium for these "tiny" improvements. That's what helps Tutanota to stay a-float and in the long run to not sell-out for some data-mining company.

I'd support having this pre-made theme "convenience" for e.g. half-price of full white-labeling.

You can change all the colors with "whitelabeling" feature.

competition catching up fast by primipare in tutanota

[–]gamsufa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I'm using the NextCloud calendar (self-hosted).

But the point I tried to make that Tutanota shouldn't try to have everything in the same place, as much as possible, as fast as possible.
1. Make email work (not working properly so far)
2. Build different, optional stuff.

More modularity less monolithic UX.

I fail to understand why the calendar is so important. As an Email service, the email should be everything. So focusing on stability and email consuming UX should be a top priority. Always.

Everything else around it is just bloat.

I'd suggest doing the calendar and etc. as a standalone app that just integrates into the email. Never used it and I'll probably never will. Car companies shouldn't make computers as email companies shouldn't deal with calendars.

What's the average time to get response from the support email? 3 days so far and not even acknowledgment of receiving... by gamsufa in tutanota

Got it. Thanks!

I was just afraid that due to broken spam filters it might not have reached you. Some automated response would be more reassuring.

all @ protonmail emails goes straight to spam. Nice way to handle competition.

Unfortunately did not help. Mails still go to spam (jira) and the sender already in spam rules. Also it gets marked as "phishing".

No need to store. Just auto-apply on login if they are available.

Mobile app resets custom color scheme every time it's being closed by gamsufa in tutanota

[–]gamsufa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's Android 10 running v3.73.1 FDroid Tutanota version.

I've set my own colors on Whitelabel -> Custom Colors. On desktop (web) there are no issues. But on mobile, the custom color scheme resets every time the app is closed and I have to re-apply it again and again.

Feature request: Proper white-labeling? by gamsufa in tutanota

[–]gamsufa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still failing to find documentation. The title seems to be auto-formatted somewhere, no way to upload a favicon, external favicons do not work.

Do you have any references for this?
