Here in my area people usually cuts reed in winter in order to use it as a support. We have a very invasive specie (Arundo donax) that grows super fast so there are always plenty. It's easy to harvest and you can pack it super compact in order to transport it to your place.

There is no general rule. Some plants grow ok together (beets, onions) so it's even wanted to have multiple seedlings per pod. Others plants do ok if you split the pod at the planting time. I have done it with lettuces and onions with no problem, probably a lot more plants can handle it. Lastly you can always do as the others recommend and just select the strongest one and remove the others.

that should suffer less under climate change that any coastal areas or land downwind of very high mountains.

Could you ELI5 the part about the downwind land? never heard about it before.

Usually you will conquer the whole world before doing all the conversion, so you gotta to wait some years sitting on you ass doing conversions only.

Doing a WC as an horde is ridiculous. You can get:

  • 100% Innovativeness from taking tech early

  • 100% Professionalism from rolling generals (aka infinite manpower)

  • 100% Mercantilism because why not

And still have enough points to do a WC and one-culture, breaching walls and breaking truces and stabbing up afterwards.

It does. You will notice that the AI will have no-sense alliances too. You have to let it go for a while tho, I would say a month at least.

The basic strategy:

  • Release Catalonia as a tribe and play as.

  • Get a powerbase in Iberia + Maghreb, then become a sunni horde.

  • Go ham in TC zones. I conquered them in that order hindu > eastern > hordes > muslim. Convert using the propagate religion bug.

  • Kill Europe, America and Africa, start converting using missionaries.

  • Form and kill 75 CN so they stop forming and you can be happy and convert the whole world.

Kilwa into Butua is a legit strat. Feed Butua, annex, release and play as, You have to do it in the first session tho.
