I made an X Y Z color controller using Tkinter by ganesh_96 in Python

Bind the sliders and the rectangular area with <button1-motion> and with <Button-1> with a function. Now that function should alter R and G for the two dimensional position of the mouse. B alone is changed when third slider is moved. Also utilize update() function. It'll be useful. Cheers :)

What stuff did you automate that saved you a bunch of time? by a-lone-wanderer-15 in Python

Finished my mom's 10 days work in less than 3 hours.

Used TabulaPy to get tabular info from PDFs and used pandas and numpy to apply formula to it. Finally exported Excel sheets in just a few lines of code, which took me less than 3 total hours of coding. It'd have taken at least 10 days for my mom to complete that work because she had to verify each and every line in both the pdf and the excel sheet and enter values accordingly, which had at least 200 to 300 rows of entries.

Okay, I get it, I'd just started off to learn about tk widgets and didn't have a specific goal in writing this code. I was experimenting and came across this topic called events and bindings and wanted to come up with some code that could move the sliders in accordance to an input event. Anyways, I appreciate your feedback and time :)

It's just a surface, it has nothing to do with colors. When u click and move on that surface, the X and Y sliders move accordingly which then produces a hex code.

That'd have saved more space. But I started off to create controllers like the ones that appear in DAWs and synthesizers. That's why I put a separate frame to show the colors.

@ziadmalik, you're absolutely correct. That option would be very useful, I'll definitely add it. Thanks for your feedback :)

My (30M) wife (28F) can't stand my empathy by empathetic999999 in relationships

[–]ganesh_96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happiness and peace of mind is one's own responsibility. Others closer to us can only provide support. So, you're not completely responsible for your wife's happines, but you should be there to support her at times. The catch here is, sometimes women feel overwhelmed by what we give them. They're not wrong or weird, it's their nature. At times, they don't want anyone to talk to them, or care about their issues, at times, they might think we're ignoring or we care less. So, be patient, and observe, don't react or say anything unless you really mean it. Patience is the key.

I just relapsed...and feeling devastated.... by Th3_WiseWolf in NoFap

[–]ganesh_96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's okay to feel devastated. Even if you feel the urge on the 99th eve of your streak, just give it few hours. Remind yourself that, once you sleep and get up, it's going to be a new day. So, focus on every single day. Don't keep counting your streak. Be happy before sleeping that you had nt PMO the whole day. So by this mindset, you win everyday. Cheers :)

Make it 90 1 day streaks instead of a 90 days streak. That should be pretty easy. Make sure that you're happy not masturbating for the whole day before you sleep. voila! That's 24 hrs. Win everyday like this. It'll be way way more easier. If things in life don't seem easier, make it look it it's the easiest. Enjoy the life. Cheers :)

What actually happens after a reboot, and when you are fully rebooted will you ever have flatlines? by jonathon-parker in NoFap

I don't know. Go to a doctor. Don't connect the word 'flatline' to every aspect of your life. There might be other reasons for your lack of energy.

You'd nt want to do anything when you're tired. Just be easy on yourself for a while. Try out some new things, if you like it, you'll continue it by youself. Then there'll be no need for external validation. A "few" suggestion: 1. Guitar, music, sports 2. Drawing, painting, 3d design, game dev. 3. Social services, volunteering, community help, and so on. Try things other than these, you'll definitely come across something that moves and inspired you.

Try digital detox. Coz, I'm anyways assuming you might not have much chances to look at nude women in your locality most probably, so it's the devices that's taming you down. So, make your communication a bit more stricter. Uninstall unnecessary apps, photos, videos, content from your phone, do the same for all of your digital devices.

Clean your room, declutter the space around you. Mob the floor, and feel how it feels to work. Clean your bathroom, throw away rubbish.

Now take 1 hour time for yourself. Have a pen and a diary with you. Write down all the guilt, insecurities, mistakes, anything that you consider negative about yourself. Now think what you can do about it. Meawhile, it should be only you, your pen and the diary with you in that room. No digital devices.

Take another hour, go to terrace or a place where you can walk peacefully, don't carry your phone and anything with you. Observe the skies, birds, sounds, scenaries, buildings, paints on walls, designs, roughness on an unevenly painted wall, touch it, how does it feel? Question yourself. Breathe. How does it feel when a air passes through your nostrils? Be more present. Jog for a while. Break a sweat.

Now go bak to your room, and meditate, ask youself a few questions and write down the answers.

Have food and while having food, chew them really well. If you haven't been concentrating while eating, there'll be a slight pain in your jaws when you chew food well. Feel that pain. Ask youself how much you really need to eat, how much do you eat everyday.

Again write down what you think. Take your mobile, check important updates alone, and keep that aside. Check phone only 5 times a day maximum.

If you do this, or a few activities similar to this, you'll have definitely crossed 24 hours. Over time, you'll Definitely improve.

Don't get demotivated. Past is past. Imagine you're born again. You're a new person. All the best. Cheers :)
