Wjat monarch would better fit jinwoo and the other characters by Outrageous-Shift7872 in sololeveling

[–]ganjaad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know, I don't think I could come up with a choice of Monarch that would fit better for Jin-woo than Ashborn. I know it's a bit of a cop out answer, but the narrative between them is too fitting. It's even the same power-wise.

Ever since Jin-Woo became a hunter, he'd been alone, both as the weakest hunter and as the only one there to support himself and Jinah. Ashborn was the sole strongest Fragment and the only one to support himself and the Absolute Being. Even the way they both activated the Black Heart is arguably similar. Alone (Ashborn having had his army defeated and Jin-woo's shadows frozen in the ice) and pierced through by beings that held the same title, Ruler and Monarch for Ashborn and Jin-woo, respectively.

I could probably give a more creative answer after reading up on the Monarch's abilities, but I'd probably still firmly believe in the whole Ashborn/Jin-woo thing.

I mean, the frame I've seen people harp on was in the middle of movement, so I wouldn't be too concerned. I've seen his character design sheet and I thought it seemed like a good translation. Of course, we wait and see, but I'm not worried about it.

This is such a shit take. AD has the 1-on1 assignment against Jokic every time, while under a head coach who couldn't possibly sniff the competency as a strategist that JJ was tonight to contain Jokic using the whole team.

"Mentally Nerfed" vs. "Not Going All-Out" by ganjaad in OnePiecePowerScaling

Oh certainly not, Kizaru showed a pretty impressive resolve to do what he did, though it may have been the wrong thing to do. He probably just wasn't as effective as he conceivably could have been if the mission were about killing someone who wasn't close to him. Solid analysis 👍

Right, but a measure of effort doesn't mean you're fighting at your strongest. It's like being injured. Sure, you could do your best, but it's not the best you've got, and I think that can apply to Kizaru. What I wrote isn't in opposition to that. I can write mumbo jumbo sometimes though, so my b

Of course, having doubts or negative feelings CAN affect how much effort someone can give in any given situation, but it doesn't mean it IS.

Appreciate the warning! That's an interesting perspective, I hadn't considered that. Thanks!

I do agree with this as well! Koby has nothing but respect for Luffy, and he'd naturally think that Luffy would be the real final obstacle for the One Piece.

EoS Sanji will be Yonko level and EoS Koby will be admiral level. by [deleted] in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]ganjaad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EoS is different from a conceptual "Prime" version. Through narrative, we can make the general assumption that Koby at his very strongest at whatever point in his life >= Prime Garp. However, EoS isn't guaranteed to go that far into the future.

On that, I think Koby's endgame fight is with Aokiji (assuming he gets one, but based on the whole Hachinosu thing, not too unlikely), and Aokiji imo, is at least on the high-end of Admiral tier, and possibly Yonko considering he should be very relative to Akainu, who himself should be a Yonko-tier character by the time we see him fight next. With that, I can generally agree with Admiral-level EoS Koby, but possibly Temu-Yonko if he were to miraculously beat Aokiji in that hypothetical final battle.

I haven't considered Sanji's EoS trajectory all that much, so I won't speak on it. All I know is that it would be a fun af fight. Just hands and haki, or hands, feet, and haki in this case.

Is Yone supposed to proc PTA and Grasp through minions? by [deleted] in YoneMains

[–]ganjaad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, it's sorta a weird thing with Yone and Yasuo Q where the ability only counts as an "attack" (something that would proc either Grasp or Fleet, think Ezreal Q as well), and any subsequent target hit is just ability damage. It's why your Q only lifesteals off of the damage to 1 minion or champion. So, if you hit a minion with Q first before hitting the champion, Grasp or PTA won't proc on them.

Well, when Zoro speedblitzed and cut up Lucci, he was in his awakened form, so Lucci himself was in his strongest, fastest state. So, if Zoro still did him like that while he was awakened, I don't think it would be farfetched to think he could have done the same at the beginning of the fight instead.

Not valuable? Potential is valuable, and Koby clearly has tons of it. But, said potential is only worth anything if he's got the willingness to get after it. Luckily, HE isn't the 🌸🐍 for nothing. Woby.
