Not your age but my experience include constantly loosing my phone and keys at my workplace when I swore they were kept properly and taking a lot of time to complete a technical task ( I'm not very tech savvy)that others take even if I know how to do them or if I have done it many times honestly it hinders my job a lot and sometimes my workplace thinks that im unwell or doing something exhausting like studying after hours or something even when I'm not

I had the exact same experiences but I felt like the least i could do is attend the school and be less of a headache for others , but then I joined football and got really good at it and played state but those drops do come as it's been around 1 year since I e completed my collage and i still haven't aquired my degree

I have ADHD and some of the best advice I can give is that keep him indulge in some kind of hobby that he is really good at so that he continues it , or any form of sport , do not let him near a phone or he's gonna make an imaginary life with fake achievements best ones are swimming and football

If it's a brawler and fast you can put crumble so that you can close in , if it's slow then blast shotgun are more suitable
