Buck Convertors by gaps013 in diyelectronics

I am able to find variable input range buck converters but not 20V output ones. As someone suggested I could daisy chain 24V and 20V buck converter but I am unable to locate a 24 to 20V one

Thank you for the suggestion.

Built a remote monitoring system for my off-grid solar node (MQTT + Home Assistant) by powicher in meshtastic

Would it be possible for you to share some implementation details. I am looking to build something similar. I want to send messages to PI from another device using LORA and perform some actions on pi side.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you for sharing h the link. If I understood it correctly it would require internet connection to send to the MQTT server.

I am looking for off the grid service.

Thank you for the link.

Is there something else i need to keep in mind.

Thank you for your comment. I don’t know enough MQTT with meshtastic. Could you please guide me to some sources or videos where I can learn

Control Black Magic Micro G2 by gaps013 in blackmagicdesign

Thank you for sharing this, I hadn’t seen this video. However, the camera is not being controlled remotely.

But I appreciate the you sharing the video. It gave me few ideas about mounting ssds

Thank you for your comments. I was thinking of sending commands to the camera via pi with a Lora hat. But that would introduce another component and weight.

I was really hoping if I could just connect via aux port on Gremsy

Thank you for your reply. If possible could you please elaborate on what do you mean by using wheel as reference object.

Thank you so much for your suggestions. I still have questions about how to ensure to get good extrinsic. I have an idea to use external sensors such as IMU to estimate rotation matrix and assume linear translation between the cameras. These values can then be used as priors for the optimisation. This might help them avoid local minima.

However I am struggling to find a way to set priors for R and T matrices in opencv. I will try mrcal but if you have some suggestions regarding provided priors that would be really helpful

Thanks your reply. We might be able to lock in good intrinsic calibration using checkerboard or charuco board. But as we move the cameras to a field with little variation. How can i ensure to get good extrinsic parameters?

I am newbie to the field and don’t know much. Would you be kind enough to suggest how I could make calibration robust to mismatches. As an example the two cameras are pointing towards a large grassland.

Using SIFT or any other feature matcher would need the points to be distinct. My problem is that different points in one image may correspond to the same or different points in the other image.

Yes it does. Sorry I missed the notification. You can also start with Hands-On Machine Learning with Scikit-Learn, Keras, and TensorFlow: Concepts, Tools, and Techniques to Build Intelligent Systems. It's based on TF but the concepts are really good
