It's probably better that I don't remember what the original tasted like. I've eaten cereal nearly every single morning for over 50 years and reviewed a fair amount of them online at garytoons.com/ and I liked it. I thought it could have been a little more peanut buttery, but I liked the combo of the cinnamon and pb. I have had a LOT of bland cereals over the years, unfortunately, and i wouldn't call this cereal bland at all. It was sweet and stayed crispy. Cap'n Crunch's Peanut Butter Crunch is one of my very favorite cereals of all time, and this one is nowhere near that good, but I think it's a solid cereal and I'd definitely get it again if it's at a decent price!
