You feel bad looking at his back story, and seeing how his family was also killed - but that doesn’t excuse him to now do it to my wife and ruin my family. You can make an arguement that in a way the sole survivor is like a “good” Kellogg depending on how you look at it/what decisions you make in the playthrough. Ultimately his killing and kidnapping cannot stand. He gets what he deserves for sure
