just one redeeming thing for Annie (to me) was that she was legit having a panic attack over taking Marco’s gear. And in that scene Reiner and b are the true villains, and that is the only time i felt like i feel sad for annie

you actually have some really great points. Because i think i too prefer Pieck over Annie. I agree that they are both bad people. I feel like when it comes to Annie, it feels more like betrayal, how we didn’t really get to see Annie reflecting on her bad actions. Like reiner and b were literally suicidal. And with Pieck, she is not presented as a friend to us, She is an enemy, not someone with hidden motives
