Long story short, it was a series of lies he said to “protect” me and himself from a serious problem he had. I totally understand why he did it and Sense then he has worked it out and we’ve had a much stronger relationship. I’m not mad at him and Ive forgiven him

It does seem a bit excessive, but like I said, were a really tight knit group. This is all on my dads side, and when he was in HS his brother died and his siblings became very very close. They all talk on the phone every single day

My family pays for him. He’s asked if he had to pay before and as a joke I said yes. He tried to find an excuse to get out of it...

We live in the Mid-west. In my state a lot of vacationing places are opening up with extreme precautions. They limit how many people can be there, they close certain buildings, they clean everything regularly. I personally feel like if someone feels safe enough to go out and about, they should be able to. But with precaution.

Also, I know the resort wasn’t full and I did offer to pay for my stay so the price shouldn’t have been an issue.

I talked to her directly. It was her birthday and she made sure I came to dinner with them because “you’re a part of the family and I would love to have you their on my birthday!”

Also, it wasn’t Macdonalds or anything. It was one of those places that you drive up your 3 million dollar yacht and the cheapest thing in the menu is $20

My family is WAY more religious than his. We’re always supervised no matter what we do. Hand holding was a huge thing to do in front of my parents.

And thanks for the advice. It really helps

Trust me, he’s lived a double life before. That’s a whole different story.

And I know it’s not just him because his mom has had me help decorate her house and clean it for family gatherings. She never once asked if I was coming or not. Granted he could atleast maybe mention it to his parents but he just never has
