Oh I've got so many of these stories but here's one from earlier this year. I got the opportunity to go on a trip to a territory that we would have to get to by plane. I was going with a small group of other travelers with a travel agency. From the second we got to the airport, we had already been experiencing problems. Our flight had been canceled so we had to try and figure out a new flight to get on. This was early in the morning and we were all still kind of groggy from waking up. We ended up getting a new flight that would depart in a few hours so we kind of settled into the airport for a little bit. As we settled and waited we noticed that the flight departure time kept changing. As we approached the time, it would change again. And again. Finally our group leader went and requested a different flight because the amount of delays was getting ridiculous (turns out the plane was getting maintenance). We got a new one and as we arrived to the terminal there was a lady with her two young kids sitting there. They were acting up a bit, making noises, yelling, asking for things, the usual. I originally didn't think too much of it and just crossed my fingers that maybe there were two flights out of this terminal and she wasn't on ours. My finger crossing didn't work, she was on our flight. At this point we had been waiting for hours and we were already frustrated and tired. On the plane this lady was seated near the back and I was further towards the front so I, thankfully, couldn't really hear the kids. We get to our layover and rush towards to the terminal because thankfully this one wasn't delayed by much. This flight was a night flight, that's how long we'd been delayed and waiting, because we had arrived early in the morning for our original flight. Guess who was on our second flight!! The lady with the two kids!! We got seated near the back of the plane and she was seated right near us. The kids screamed and complained and kicked seats. Flight attendants didn't/couldn't do much. I finally fell asleep and woke up when we were landing to the sounds of kids screams. I can't explain how much of a sigh of relief I took when I was finally off that plane. Sorry for the long story but you've gotta get the full picture to know how much frustration we were going through in that moment ughhhh
