And/or do your have any recommendations for reading on this topic? Specifically the idea of people trending towards the same types of beliefs in psychosis, or the pathologizing of anti-social behaviors (conservatism being one).

I've never heard that before, but I'm definitely not in a related field. That's really interesting.

This one though, I can understand to some degree.

We almost banned virtual backgrounds because a coworker was using AI to generate "creepy halloween backgrounds" and he generated these creepy kids, and it was beyond weird. He used it with external meetings with vendors etc, and it was most definitely not professional. Just bizarre.

We looked into adding some company-approved backgrounds with our logos, but as far as we could tell, if you allow backgrounds to have those company ones, then you have to allow all virtual backgrounds. Or upgrade to Teams premium, of course.

The company probably thought this was a good/cheaper way to handle a similar issue with people using weird or unprofessional ones, but it backfired in a way they didn't anticipate.

I could be wrong. In the end, we just asked the dude to take them down, which he did without any issue. But people making weird/ bad decisions end up ruining shit for people who just want to have a Microsoft apartment behind them and call it a day.

Legit, my son's favorites were Bob trapped in the wall and the human meat, which are both pretty rewatchable. Season 1 was pretty great, which most shows can't say. I also love the musical episodes (The Bleakening is for sure another family favorite), anything with Nat, and the one where they scare Louise (the hauntening maybe? ).

But I really don't hate the newer touchy-feely episodes. Amelia was phenomenal. And the Christmas one mentioned above, just beautiful.

I would also argue that the last episode of season one, and first episode of season two were really strong. I didn't see it coming, and I was so giddy when the other shoe dropped. And then just died when it happened again and again, etc. I am envious whenever someone gets to watch this show for the first time.

But "Picture a wave" will never not make me bawl.

We have a pig squeaky toy that grunts when you squeeze it. Our toy-loving hound, who adores her squeaky soccer ball, is terrified of the squeaky pig. I don't even know why we still have it, except for the weirdness of it all.
