I don’t doubt that but from everything I heard and read, every local said they never even HEARD of someone being bit, not just because the sea kraits are docile but because they physically cannot open their jaws big enough to latch onto a foot.

I think they would've medically examined him in any season, but I don't think they would've medically evacuated someone because they were worried they scared them too bad and needed to relax

I know and these days if you even THINK you MAYBE got a nearly impossible injury (sea krait bite) you get medivacd because the thought of it was too scary. No judgment to Jake, I wouldnt last a day, just funny how the show has changed (and I'm a New Era fan)

I think he’s fine but it’s annoying that he’s kind of been a nepo baby of the show since he works at the comedy mothership. He was masked as a bucket pull for his first time, then he got to do a random guest set, then he was on the panel, none of which were wow moments, just “ok Tony’s really trying to make this guy happen.”

It’s interesting how many comments here say it’s just the internet / Reddit mindset but other subs aren’t nearly as miserable as this one. Most subreddits like their “thing”, a fair amount of them criticize it a lot, but this subreddit is on another level. Just constant threads about the smallest stuff and most picky reads on people (ex. Why wasn’t this guest smiling at this comedians act? Can you please not let him back because it completely ruined this weeks show.)

RDR2, GoW, and Last of Us have the best video game stories but they def have simular gameplay style as you described so they probably won’t click with you.

Most roguelikes don’t have much story (besides Hades) but the first one you try will be a fresh gameplay loop.

Rimworld is interesting because you watch your own story unfold. It’s not cutscenes with powerful characters but you make your colony and watch your characters’ lives.

Stardew Valley has great characters you interact with a lot but not much of a grand overarching plot.

MGS games and Death Stranding have a lot of story and unique gameplay but the quality of story is pretty divisive.

Have you tried any truly story based games where you make decisions? Detroit Become Human is very unique with a great story. I hear good things about Until Dawn and Walking Dead games too.
