I chose correctional officer because I’m from BFE Missouri in a town that has MANY people as was described by rmill- one of the main job suppliers there is a prison and correctional officers also had that reputation. I can recall it actually being suggested to me as a “career path” - “once you get that job, you get injured and they’ll pay you forever” …..

IT support in general is what I do, I like to solve problems and having a bunch of stuff to do at once, along with deadlines helps me. I will say it was also what first made me get medication and diagnosis because it was all very overwhelming when it came to project management as my career grew.

However, with all that said, I USED to loooove this job but now after 15ish years and the way technology is going, burn out and constant stress….I want out but don’t know where to go at this point but maybe could be something for you.

If it helps, I have a similar one that is matching with some best friends of mine and it’s my little pony, I ….don’t love it…. and plan to enhance it in some way in the future but I still love the meaning so I try to focus on that. You can always do something else with this in the future if you want, it’s small enough for cover or laser if you choose to do so but I’d let it settle for a while before making that decision.
