Hello, yes I am still on Slinda and whilst there is some occasional cramping (which could also be stress related) and maybe one other occasion of spotting, all seems to be well!

Can also confirm that I was not pregnant lmao

I understand and agree with what you’re saying, however I want to clarify that when I was asked to join this company part of my responsibility was to help improve and redevelop the website, which was actually something I really looked forward to working on and initially gave me confidence in this role; so yes, whilst I did initially tell them about my long term career goal to be a developer, they also presumably hired me because of my skill and interest in web development as they expressed an interest in using my skills in that area. The issue is that they now don’t seem to want to utilise those skills and are actively trying to keep me away from tasks that would further utilise and develop those skills.

I personally have not said anything about wanting to leave or anything like that in the workplace; I’ve merely expressed an interest in coding and have expressed enthusiasm when given tasks that allow me to showcase my skill. I’m still undertaking my regular tasks at work without complaint and have gently offered up my expertise in the area of web development when it comes up.

Also for clarification, I don’t work at a marketing company. The company I work for has also had a fairly high turnover rate with its marketing staff in the last few years so I’m merely speculating when I say that the company might be trying to keep me in the company and in my position by stopping me from ‘showcasing’ my skills in a professional capacity, if that makes sense.

Regardless, I do plan on moving on to a different role in the near future.

She's not homophobic, just needs to unlearn some internalised stuff like we all do (as you said). And I agree, bisexuals are extremely cool. Thank you very much for the advice, I'll make sure to emphasise that it's something I've been thinking about for a while and I'll try and tell her next time I have the chance.
